General Library Accessions registers

When Doe Library opened, the university had already been collecting books for over 40 years, from the early collections of the College of California to important acquisitions in the early years of the library.

Many great additions to our collections were made by early donors to the library, including Henry Douglas Bacon, Michael Reese, Benjamin Ide Wheeler, Mrs. Benjamin Avery, the Class of 1883, The King of Siam, and the estate of Marius Spinello.
